Caitlin Bucari joined The Lighting Practice team as a lighting designer in 2015. Her project work includes corporate, mixed-use, retail, multi-family residential and hospitality environments. Bucari’s creative and collaborative design approach, attention to project details, and conscious attention to her clients has made her an essential member of the team.
In addition to this, the team has also announced the introduction of two new members of its design team: John Conley and Lauren Tyler.
John Conley joined The Lighting Practice as a Lighting Designer in 2015 after graduating from The Pennsylvania State University with an integrated Bachelor and Master of Architectural Engineering with a focus in electrical and lighting design. Conley always had an interest in architecture and design. He appreciated the impact that lighting could have on a space. Penn State’s Student IES trips provided him with exposure to designers and lighting manufacturers from across the country. The designers’ passion and industry opportunities furthered his desire to work in the field of lighting. Conley gained hands on experience during an internship in Detroit, MI with a prominent A&E Design and Planning firm. Since joining The Lighting Practice Conley’s project experience has expanded to include education, retail and hospitality environments.
Lauren Tyler joined The Lighting Practice as a Lighting Designer in 2015 after relocating to Philadelphia from Fort Worth, TX. Tyler graduated from Baylor University, where she studied Technical Theatre Design. She then obtained her Masters in Theatre Design with a focus in lighting and projections from Illinois Urbana Champaign. Tyler has been involved in theatre since she was in elementary school and developed a real love of lighting in high school. She continues to be inspired by how lighting can transform a space and how it can affect mood. Her past lighting design experience includes concerts, theatre, opera, dance, musicals, museums and places of worship. Since joining The Lighting Practice Tyler’s project experience has expanded to include corporate and retail environments.
