outstanding durability with Astro's design ethos of elegant simplicity.
Astep Candela
Continuing the long tradition of elegant Scandinavian flame luminaries, Candela, designed by Francisco Gomez Paz, advances this classic product typology with 21st century technology. Candela produces it’s own electricity to provide cosy LED illumination and charge mobile devices via USB.
Arturo Alvarez Pili
The Pili table lamp is full of charm and mystery. Nestled between four metal rods a single painted stainless steel thread is interwoven creating random volume and wrapping irregularity through the collection. Pili is available in two sizes, which allows for some visually stunning compositions when units are combined.
Aqua Creations Zooid Suspended
An addition to the Zooid collection with its signature geometrical lines and 3D shapes. The pendant lamp is powered by two-channel colour temperature, controllable by Aqua Creation’s App allowing the user to define any desired colour.
The metal is covered with polymer and produces 500W warm and cool white LED lamps.
Ango Double Orbit
The Double Orbit from Ango is a unique ceiling pendant handcrafted from a natural, very fine rattan and weaved using a random technique developed specially by the designer.
Two interconnected diffusers containing G9 LED filament lamps subtly modulate the light to produce a warm glow.
Anglepoise Ceramic Collection
The new four-piece Anglepoise Ceramic Collection exudes simplicity and elegance. The glossy smoothness of the pure bone china shades is complemented by smart, chrome-plated fittings while the grey fabric cable provides subtle textural contrast. When the light source is switched on the shade turns translucent, radiating soft, ambient light around the room.
Panzeri celebrates 70th Anniversary
(IT) - Panzeri showcase new logo at Euroluce to celebrate 70th anniversary.
The logo design is based on the silhouette of the Jackie desk lamp and the Golden Rings ceiling fixture, two of the company’s bestselling lamps.
Panzeri’s story begins in 1947 with Carlo Panzeri, who started a company specialising in manufacturing components for lamps. His extensive technical and engineering experience, combined with his entrepreneurial spirit, set the foundations for the lighting products produced by the company in the 1990s.
Norberto, Enzo and Simonetta Panzeri, second generation entrpreneurs of the family, have since been able to perfectly combine their father’s great legacy in terms of tradition and craftsmanship with state of the art technology.
Now very much a ‘modern’ company, Panzeri is continuing to gain success globally in the decorative and architectural lighting sector as a brand that stands out for producing beautiful, artisanal and unique objects.
Inspired by Spring
(US) - This season’s soft, organic shapes push a number of new floral-inspired pendants to the forefront
The Lotus pendant from Sonneman - A Way of Light features white, curved forms, arrayed in suspension that directs bright light up, down, and through the spaces between the petals, producing soft luminous reflections and a radiant glow.
“In our pursuit of technology-driven design, we took functional decorative to a fresh aesthetic with new forms and materials,” designer Robert Sonneman explains.
The satin white Lotus pendant incorporates the latest LED technology but is also compatible with traditional incandescent lamps.
Another spring inspired release comes from Love Me Not, designed by artist Pascale Girardin and Brooklyn-based design studio Juniper. Challenging traditional floral motifs popular in residential design, it takes on an organic shape that draws from childhood memories of idly picking petals off of daisies.
A thoughtful re-imagining of springs go-to floral trend, Love Me Not can be applied to traditional or minimalist design schemes.
Strikingly elegant in form and finish, both the Lotus and Love Me Not pendants are the perfect finishing touch for any residential, hospitality or commercial space.

UK artist presents light installation at INDEX
(UAE) - Artist Debi Keable will present her latest work ‘A Walk in The Trees’ at this year’s INDEX show in Dubai.
The installation previously formed part of the Hull Freedom Festival in the UK, which saw the opening ceremony ‘The Long Walk to Freedom’ light trail bring together installations by local artists.
The city of Hull is the UK’s City of Culture 2017 and has been transformed by a constant series of events, artworks, celebrations and networking with cities around the world. Hull was the birthplace and home of William Wilberforce, the politician responsible for the abolition of slavery in the UK 210 years ago and was also honoured by a visit from Nelson Mandela.
All inspired by Nelson Mandela, The Long Walk to Freedom light trail saw his greatest moments and achievements reimagined as installations of light, colour and sound along the cobbles of Hull’s Old Town.
Keable’s installation was created with the help of local children, using phosphorous paint and UV light and is inspired by Mandela’s love of walking among trees.
