Jean Philippe Nuel to unveil their ABAC Lamp at BDNY 2018
(France) – ABAC is a wall lamp with round and soft lines that combines the functions of a reading lamp with a table lamp. The shell evokes the fluidity of lifting a veil which reveals light. This element turns around a central axis for an intuitive and sensorial use. The axis also helps to guide the reading lamp. An independent and fixed backlight draws a halo of light along the periphery of the lamp which seems to take off from the wall offering a misty aura.

Lightovation is ready to take North America by storm
(USA) – Lightovation: Dallas International Lighting Show will offer a full slate of educational programming and an expanded selection of new innovative products for their January 16-20, 2019 show in downtown Dallas.
“The lighting industry continues to experience substantial growth and innovation, and we are pleased to be the North American destination for lighting decision makers to review more new products and gain business intelligence,” said Cindy Morris, President and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “In addition, more companies are deepening their investment, signalling their confidence in Dallas as the dominant trading centre.”
The show takes place at the same time as the company’s Dallas Total Home & Gift Market which runs from the 16-22 of January.
Continuing the tradition of offering a comprehensive selection of leading-edge products in all categories of lighting and ceiling fans, the January market will showcase an increased amount of lighting resources.
Several top lighting showrooms have expanded their presence at Dallas Market Center in order to feature new and extensive collections. Highly-anticipated expansions include:

Lightovation, known for delivering competitive educational events, will hold events at the SMART Center with a pre-show keynote presentation by marketing expert Leslie Carothers on maximising ROI using digital marketing tools.
Additional seminars, organised by the American Lighting Association and also held at the SMART Center, will include three 90-minute discussions on linear light sources, selecting recessed fixtures and lighting control systems led by lighting designer Peter Romaniello.
There will also be plenty of networking opportunities including the Women in Lighting Reception, hosted by Hinkley Lighting and Cheers with Peers, a joint event for ALA Young Executives and ART’s Under 40 members.

ADesignStudio - Greenway Crackle Collection
The Greenway Crackle is a natural extension of the Greenway and Eon collections. The resulting design draws on Greenway’s system of lighting components referencing Australia’s historic maritime architecture.
