‘Design to Shape Light’ from Louis Poulsen and Nulty+
(UK) – Louis Poulsen teams up with lighting designer Paul Nulty for photography exhibition based on the theme ‘Design to Shape Light’.
Running from 10-26 October 2018, the exhibition includes a selection of 21 dramatically different photographs by some of Europe’s most innovative architects, designers and creatives.
The exhibition theme aims to underly the philosophy of the Louis Poulsen brand, as Paul Nulty explains: “I jumped at the opportunity to work with Louis Poulsen as there are so many innovative players on the A&D scene that have a great eye that goes beyond their own discipline and into the realm of light.
“Photography is an ideal way of expressing this and the result is a collection of very different personal perspectives of light, and ultimately, emotions. Each photograph will be available for sale through a silent auction with all proceeds going to Maggie’s, Barts, at St Bartholomew’s Hospital.”
Participants in the exhibition include: Gustafson Porter + Bowman; ReardonSmith Landscape; Claridge Architects; drMM; Squire & Partners; Ab Rogers; Rock Townsend; Goddard Littlefair; Iwan Baan/Steven Holl Architects; MoreySmith; Jestico & Whiles; Michael Grubb Studio; Speirs & Major; Jason Bruges Studio; Tony Chambers; Barbara Chandler; Max Fraser; Christian Flindt; James French; James Newton; Eva Menz.
Each photograph will be hung within a styled room setting in the Carl Hansen & Son showroom in Clerkenwell and available to the public to view and bid on until 26 October.
